Beautiful Creatures

I am now reding another amazing book, (Thank You Mrs. Reed) called Beautiful Creatures By:Kami Garcia & Margeret Stohl. This book is about Ramance, action,mystery and the supernatural. The story is, Ethan a popular,basketball boy lives in a smal town in South Carolina. Nothing ever happens here. He keeps having dreams about a girl he has never met. One day the girl,Lena pops up at school. Everyone hates Lena right away when they find out she is the towns shut-in Macon Ravenswood's neice. Lena and Ethan become good friends and soon after fall in love. They find a locket that can some how show them the past and Ethan dicovers that the girl he loves and her family have powers. Lena tells Ethan she is in danger of becoming a Dark Caster(dark magic user). Ethan will stop at nothing to save her. But,who can they trust,who's on their side and why does everyone suddenly have secrets? This is an amazing book. READ IT!!!

Deadly Little Secret

I have started a new book. Deadly Little Secert is an action packed, filled with mystery and questions. Camalia (protanginist) was save 3 months ago by a boy from a out of control car. From that day on she has wanted to thank him for the rescue. One day he shows up at her school,but rumors are flying that he murdered his ex-girlfriend.Camalia's friends warn her about him and try to keep her away. But she will stop at nothing to learn all about this boy named Ben. He soon comes to her and tells her she is in danger. Is he just trying to scare her or his he ploting his next kill?This book is great! It's one of my favorites.

The Devouring

I finished Catching Fire! One of the best books I've ever read,very action packed and romantic! So,now that I'm done with Catching Fire I started a new book. The Devouring BY: Simon Holt is a scary, dark book about Vours. Vours are monsters that come on the 22nd of December. They come to the light and feed off your fear. If you don't turn off your light on Sorry Night (22nd of December) the vours will come and remove your soul.They take your body as there own. Reggie, a girl living with her younger brother and Father. Soon finds out that the Vours are not a made-up monsters out of a book, but real monsters. Her brother has been taken by the Vours. Now it is up to her to save her 8 year old brother.

Catching Fire

I finished the Hunger Games. The 1st book in the Hunger Games Triliogy. Catching Fire is the 2nd book. It's great book. Katniss Everdeen along with Peeta (the bread boy) won the dangerous Hunger Games. Peeta and Katniss must contiune there act of love for one another to keep the people of Pamen happy. Soon the Capital starts preparing for a marringe. Katniss is in love with her best friend, Gale. But do to there love in the arena Peeta and Katniss must marry. This years Hunger Games is the 75th annivesery. Pervuse winners must renter the games. Katniss is the only girl winner in her district. only one can win. She must choose who she has to take with her. Peeta the boy who saved her life millons of times and is one of her best friends, or Haymitch the man who knows the games like the back of his hand. Who ever she picks will go to the games once more and in order for her live she has to kill them all.

The Hunger Games

I'm reading to books at one time. I'm just amazing like that, but anyway. Hunger Games is an Awesome book. It has action,romance and brave heros all in one chapter book. It's takes place in the future after the USA. The name of the country is Pamen. The areas are divided into districts 1 through 12. The rulers of the districts is a all-powerful city called the Capital. Long ago in the beginning of Pamen there was a district 13. Then hated the Capital and decided to take a stand. The Capital won the war . The capital attacked District 13 and tried to kill all the people that lived there. Many died but some lived. In memory of this the Capital holds the Hunger Games. In reminder that they are more powerful. one girl and boy from each district is picked to fight for there lives.

Hacking Harvard

I was saddly unable to finish Sight. It was very confusing and I had a hard time keeping my attetion on it. So, Mrs.Reed my teacher gave me this book called Hacking Harvard a novel by Robin Wasserman. It's about 4 collage students that are out to hack or prank Harvard a very big collage.
The Hack: To get one deadbeat,fully unqualified slacker into the most prestigous school in the country.
The Crew: Eric Roth-the good guy, the vocie of reason
Max Kim- the player who made the bet in the 1st place
Schwarz- the kid genius already on the inside of Harvard,that is
Lex- the little miss perfect valedictorian who insists on getting in the game
The Plan: Use only the most undetectable schemes and techo-brilliant skillls. Don't break the Hacker's Code. Don't get distracted. Don't get caught. Take down someone who deserves it.

The Stakes: A lot higher than they think

So there trying to get someone really dumb and lazy into the big school Harvard (which is a real school) Every main person in the story has someone they want to get back at. It somehow all ties in to the hacking of Harvard. I'll have background Info on the novelist and Harvard soon.

Sight

Now that I'm done with Sweethearts I've started a new book called Sight. Sight is about a 15 year old girl name Dylan. She has visions of terriable things. She can see how a child dies. She gives these images to the police to help0 capture the killer of all the childern she has seen. But only her mother and the police now of her abilities to see the unseen. Cate moves in to town. She's fun and loves Dylan. But Cate is not all she claims to be.It takes the disapperance of her best friend, Pilar's little sister to open Dylan's eyes. Now it's a race against time to save a life, she must focus her vision seeing specailties so that she can also survive the danger.She is forced to see more clearly than she has ever in her life. The fate of a little girl and herself lie in a 15 year old's hands.
So far the book is great you should try to read it. It truly is a great book full of action and visions of untold stories of the poor childern that have been lost.

Sweethearts is complete

I finsh Sweethearts yesterday. The ending was good. Cameron has run away from home to find work. So, that he can file custody of his brothers and sisters.His father is abusive to them and other childern.Cameron stays with Jenna till things get better. Jenna breaks up with he boyfriend and has feelings for her long lost childhood friends. Jenna wakes up one morning to find Cameron gone. He returned to California to be there for his siblings and mother, like he should have from the start. He writes to Jenna and they conitune a long lasting friendship.

I have new book to blog about now. It's called Sweethearts By:Sara Zarr. So far It's a pretty good book. In the book a girl named Jenna Vaughn (real name Jennifer Haris) Was out casted as a child at school. She was over-weight,had speech problems and was a little odd. Everyone at school made fun of her calling her names like Fattifer and Crybaby. The only one who understood Jennifer was a boy named Cameron Quick. A silly,fun-loving kid. Jennifer and Cameron were good friends until on her birthday Cameron's father Mr.Quick is rude and mean to Jennifer and Cameron. The next day at school Cameron is not there. Days pass and still no Cameron. She beings to think Cameron is dead. So, with out Cameron to protect her from the world at school, she changes her name to Jenna Vaughn. She slims down and buys new clothes and turns in to the popular Jenna. With friends and a boyfriend Jenna as still never forgoten Cameron. One day Cameron shows up at school. Many new adventures come along with him. But one question stil remains . . Why did he leave so suddenly? And why did he never say goodbye?

New Background

As you can clearly see I changed my background. I like the new one better. Haha It's nice to change every so often. Also I need to find Mrs.Kidwell's blog. If you know what it is please tell me ASAP!

Ok in my last post I asked for your help, with picking a new book to blog about. Now I'm going to tell you if you should read Black Ships Before Troy. I think that everyone is smart enough to know want I think. I don't think you should read this book. It has lots of names, too many really. It's very confusing with all the people and the odd names they have. If you like Greek stuff , Action,Romance,War Etc. Then you should try to read Black Ships Before Troy!

Picture Perfect!!!

I found a picture of the book. So here it is ! I thought the cover was cool. It's one of the reasons I wanted to read it. :) Helen the lady in the middle is beautiful in my personal opinon. I'm DONE!!!!

I just finished Black Ships Before Troy. In the end Achilles dies and troy falls. A sad ending to a confusing book, but it's ok cause I'm done and now we can move on!

In the many chapters . . .

Ok so, as I said before In my post , me and my group are reading the one and only Black Ships Before Troy! We have read at least 5 or 6 chapters. It's a little confusing, but it's still pretty good. Ok what I got out of it was there is this beautiful lady. She marries this king by force. A man that lives in Troy has come to see if the rumors are true. Is she the most beautiful? He seems to think so. They fall in love and run away to Troy. The king is SUPER mad. He gathers together people to fight Troy, So that he may have his fare maidden once again. Thats the most I got out of it. It's pretty boring, but I picked the book so we have to finish it. I'll tell you more about it later. Peace!

Oh! I found out the name of the book we are reading! It's called Black Ships Before Troy. We read 17 pages. It was a little confusing,But it was still good. Oh man mom's home. I'll tell you about the book next TIME!

It's the beginning

I was told to get into a "Literature Group". In my "Literature Group" we are soon to be reading books. The 1st sounded exciting so my group is reading something Black Ship. I forget the whole name.But,soon I get to pick the book, which let me tell you won't be boring! It wil be an awesome,amazing,cool,great,super book. Just like me.
